The park Skarpnäck Plaza in Stockholm

This park in the capital of Sweden is the first major multiple use park we have initiated, designed and built. Much inspiration to actually pursue worldimproving.org and our world improving ideas evolved while building this park and upon completion of it when there was some time to create something new. While working on the park from 2004 to 2012 a huge urge grew to do good things on a larger scale involving all parts of society on an international scale.

Much about the philosophy behind this park project is explained on worldimproving.org/design.

The Stockholm park project had budgets each year that was five to ten times lower than needed to complete our whole vision at once but due to more creative planning than other parks it has still been a very popular and successful project from the first years and onwards.

This park has raised many eyebrows internationally and has been visited by both international professional skateboarders as well as international "tourists on wheels" like skateboarders, bmx bikers and inline skaters from all over the world. The word about the park has spread through videos and photos taken by the visitors and through media attention of many kinds including TV, travel magazines, home owner magazines, skateboard magazines and ordinary news papers.

Skarpnäck Plaza is also widely named Brotherhood Plaza referring to skateboarders friendship as well as our firm and nonprofit organization Brotherhood that created the park. It is also at times called the Stockholm Plaza or just in short "Skarpnäck" after its location. Skarpnäck is the part of Stockholm where the park is built.

Brotherhood is now entering a phase of changing name to WorldImproving.org, reflecting its more far reaching visions of improving the world.

Welcome to add or follow the park on facebook. More pictures of the park can be found by a internet search of the words "Brotherhood Plaza Stockholm" where the top 47 or so pictures currently shows my designs and constructions (with the exception of the blue concrete wave). Some of the pictures below the top 47 are also from our park.

At www.brotherhoodplaza.com you will also find more pictures, videos and links to publicity. That page is experiencing some inconsistencies due to higher usage than the web hosting can handle so if the link does not work please try refreshing a few times or try again in a minute or two.

If you are looking for someone to create multiple purpose landscaping, art sculptures, skateboard parks, marketing possibilities and/or world improving possibilities welcome to contact us and to read more on worldimproving.org/design.
